Todd Bohely ready to pay €100 million for 20 year old winger
This season, Jamie Gittens has been outstanding for Borussia Dortmund. Since joining them in 2020, he has made significant progress. The 20-year-old has made 76 appearances for Dortmund’s first squad thus far.
Gittens is having a breakout season this year. In 18 games thus far, he has picked up three assists and scored seven goals. Furthermore, he has demonstrated his abilities in the UCL, which is thought to be the pinnacle of club football.
Gittens is being courted by major teams as a result of his outstanding play. Dortmund might be willing to sell the player for a fair fee as well. They previously did the same with Bellingham and Sancho, and Gittens soon hopes to follow in their footsteps.
Chelsea prepared to spend €100 million to sign Jamie Gittens
As per BILD, the Blues can keen to sign Gittens and are ready to spend €100 million to achieve his signature. Chelsea have always shown that they are not shy to spend big on someone who they think cam have a big impact on their club.
Dortmund will find this amount enough to part ways with Englishman. Gittens will feel that a move to Premier League will be a huge step up in his career. The only issue remains is that wheter the Blues are able to guarantee him regular game time or not.
Alongside Chelsea, their English rivals Liverpool are also keen to sign Gittens. They are planning to replace Mohamed Salah who has half year left on his current contract. Salah even said recently that he is close to exit due to the Reds not offering him new contract.
