“I want to leave” – Angry Chelsea player deletes club from social media
Lesley Ugochukwu, a Chelsea loanee, is struggling while at Southampton.
Last year, Ugochukwu left French team Rennes for Chelsea in a £23.1 million move. He spent one season with the team before going on a season-long loan to Southampton in August.
The 20-year-old, nevertheless, seems dissatisfied with his time with the Saints because he isn’t playing enough for a Southampton team that might be headed for relegation.
After being left out of the team for Southampton’s 1-1 draw with Brighton on Friday night, Ugochukwu has since removed any mentions of Southampton from his Instagram page.
Southampton boss Russell Martin has given Lesley Ugochukwu just two starts in Southampton’s 13 Premier League games so far.
Ugochukwu was entirely left out of Southampton’s travelling squad for their trip to Brighton on Friday.
The Chelsea loanee has now removed all mention of Southampton on his Instagram account.
Chelsea may move to recall Ugochukwu in the January transfer window, due to his lack of playing time.
