Chelsea set €200 million asking price on Real Madrid target Cole Palmer
As per Fichajes who earlier reported the interest of Madrid in Palmer, the Blues have slapped a €200 million asking price in Palmer. Chelsea fans will still feel that this is low after considering the superb form of Englishman since last season.
Chelsea have tied Palmer with a contract running until 2033. Hence, they are in very strong position to take decisions about his future. This means that any interested club will have to be prepared to empty their pockets if they want Palmer in their side.
As of now, everything is going really well for both Chelsea and Palmer. The 22 year old is happy at West London and will like to continue there. By joining Madrid, his game time can get reduced which may hamper his progress.
Madrid have a very good squad right now. Palmer will surely be unable to replace Jude Bellingham and hence will be moved on right wing. There too he will have a lot of competition as Rodrygo, Guler and Brahim Diaz are all quality players present at the club.
