“Hope he’s gone in January” “Can’t even perform against small Astana” – Chelsea fans slams Chelsea player despite 3-1 win over Astana
Since moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s journey at Chelsea has not been easy.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who had previously flourished under Maresca’s tutelage at Leicester City, was anticipated to make an impression after being signed during Maresca’s first transfer window. But he hasn’t had an easy time adjusting to Chelsea.
Dewsbury-Hall has struggled to establish a place in Maresca’s plans, making just five Premier League games thus far, all as a substitute. His performances have come under fire, especially following the Conference League match against Astana.
Chelsea fans, Will, didn’t hold back in expressing his disappointment, stating, “KDH might be the worst player I’ve ever seen play for Chelsea unfortunately.”
Another fan went on to criticise Dewsbury-Hall’s ability to compete at the required level, adding, “Genuinely looks out of place in this competition, hope for our sake and his sake he’s gone in Jan.”
The last fan said: “Hope he’s gone in January, Can’t even perform against small Astana”
With the January transfer window fast approaching, speculation is already mounting about whether Chelsea will decide to cut their losses on the midfielder.
