Frank Lampard has provided an update on Chelsea injured players ahead of United clash on Sunday.
According to the coach, everyone in the squad is healthy and fit, but for some of them still may be too soon to play 90 mins of an intensive game.
Lampard said: “We have Kante fit, is he match-fit? That’s a question to decide right up to the end.
“Everyone else is fit. Willian is fit, but again – maybe too soon (to play him). Rudiger is the same.”
All three of the players skipped the pre-season due to their injuries, so it is still unlikely Lampard will risk fielding any of them in the starting line-up.
However, the return to full match fitness for them is expected very soon.
Meanwhile, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James are all still recovering from their long-term injuries.
