“No shortcut to play” “Especially these set of players” – Everton coach Sean Dyche makes Chelsea decision ahead of Chelsea clash

This coming weekend, when Everton hosts Chelsea at Goodison Park, Sean Dyche and Enzo Maresca will square off in the manager’s dugout.

On Sunday afternoon, Chelsea travels to play Everton in the Premier League.

After winning eight straight games in all competitions, including five straight league victories, the Blues should undoubtedly travel with a great deal of confidence.

This season, 44-year-old Enzo Maresca has undoubtedly had his team moving in the right path. They will momentarily move up to the top of the league table if they defeat Everton on Sunday.

According to Levi Colwill, Maresca’s influence as a coach has helped Chelsea’s players see things more clearly.

Sean Dyche comments on Enzo Maresca

Everton boss Sean Dyche has paid credit to his opposition number ahead of the meeting with Chelsea. He thinks that Maresca has done a superb job since he took charge at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

When discussing upcoming opponents Chelsea, Dyche said via Everton’s official website: “The manager’s done a great job this season so far. He’s created a team atmosphere and a dynamic which is working well for them.

“We know they spent so much money over the years, but you’ve still got to combine it. There’s no exact shortcut.”

“We also need to be careful with their attacking threat especially Cole Palmer, Noni Madekue, Pedro Neto and more.. Chelsea are not joking this season”

All the noise coming out of Stamford Bridge right now appears to be positive, especially when it comes to the head coach.

Maresca’s training sessions at Chelsea are of a high level, which is no surprise to hear with the way the team’s been transformed this season.

Maresca’s Chelsea side are exceeding all expectations in the first half of the 2024/25 season.

Conor Gallagher isn’t surprised by Chelsea’s stellar form since his summer exit, but most Premier League supporters are stunned to see the Blues at the upper end of the division table.

It’s been a dream start for Maresca since he left Leicester City and took charge at Stamford Bridge.
