“They have to be blamed” – Tosin Adarabioyo reveals who to be blame for Chelsea’s FA Cup defeat to Brighton
Tosin Adarabioyo has reflected on Chelsea’s disappointing FA Cup exit at the hands of Brighton, citing a lack of focus and missed opportunities as key factors in the defeat.
Speaking after the match, the centre-back admitted, “We didn’t break them down and create good enough chances to secure the game, and we got punished at the other end.”
Tosin pointed to moments of carelessness as contributing to the loss, adding, “I see it as a lapse of concentration sometimes.”
Despite the setback, the defender remains optimistic about Chelsea’s ability to bounce back. “We just need to continue to push on and start the game well like we did today, then push that through for 90 minutes,” he said.
With Chelsea’s FA Cup hopes dashed, the focus now shifts to maintaining consistency for the remainder of the season.
