Cole Palmer said: “As a player and playing for Chelsea you have to up your game , sure players do have hard time and it’s mine as well but giving up and not improving will definitely kill your game as a professional footballer”
“However, To score today, I’m happy, but I’ve got to keep improving and try to reach new levels.
“If you’re getting chances and not scoring, you’re letting your team down at the end of the day. I feel like I’m mentally strong anyway so whatever people say, it doesn’t bother me. I’ve had it all the time growing up.”
“Leaving a club where you don’t perform well or up your game won’t help you if you sign for another club..is better to grow up mentally and physically up your game leaving a club that supports you when you’re injured and love you won’t help better to fight for your place at the club” Palmer added.
Chelsea will be back to action again on Thursday for their second leg game in the conference league against Djurgarden as the Blues are one step to the final of the game.
