“Sell these six liabilities players at Chelsea” – Mikel Obi NAMES Six players Chelsea must sell this summer
According to latest report, Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel is never shy when it comes to voicing his opinion on the current state of the Blues — and he’s just dropped a bombshell list of players he believes should be moved on this summer.
However, Speaking in a candid interview with The Telegraph, the former midfield enforcer didn’t hold back, naming six players he thinks Chelsea should sell, and four more who should be loaned out.
This follows Chelsea’s official confirmation of the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town — a deal Mikel described as “a bargain in this day and age.” The Blues triggered the striker’s £30m release clause, handing him a six-year contract in what could be one of the smartest pieces of business this summer.
According to Mikel, Chelsea need to be ruthless in the transfer market if they’re to return to the top. He believes six players should be sold: Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi and Tosin Adarabioyo.
The four players Mikel would loan out: Mikel doesn’t want to lose everyone outright, however. He believes four players should be loaned out for further development: Trevoh Chalobah, Tyrique George, Marc Guiu and
Mykhailo Mudryk.
