“He’s special I want him” – Chelsea keen to sign attacker who Cesc Fabregas called “Special player”
Chelsea are reportedly now keen on signing a player that Cesc Fabregas described as ‘special’ in some recent comments.
We are approaching the January transfer window now so we are going to be seeing more and more of these transfer rumours starting to boil up. But we all know that clubs are reluctant to let players leave midseason, so a lot of these stories are going to be for the summer window in my opinion, more than the winter. But anything can happen.
Chelsea are being linked with a former Real Madrid youngster who is now being managed by Cesc Fabregas at Como.
Fabregas of course, is a former Chelsea player so I am sure Blues fans will take note when he calls a player ‘special’ who they are linked with.
Chelsea in for Paz
Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs to have set their sights on Tottenham Hotspur summer target Nico Paz, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Mundo report the Argentina international’s impressive performances for Como have seen other clubs take notice. From the Premier League, Arsenal and Chelsea are in the mix to sign him. Juventus and Inter Milan are also named as suitors.
What Fabregas said about Paz
As cited by Football Italia back in October 2024, Fabregas said on Nico Paz:
“He’s a special player and he must be free to express himself,” Fabregas said at a post-match press conference.
“We must not make him robotic. I spoke to him this morning and he wanted to play. He was ready.”
