Liam Rosenior praises Enzo Fernandez
Rosenior will no doubt be pleased with the fight Chelsea showed to get back into the game, and the Blues were led by Fernandez who captained the side and has really grown into a leadership role.
The former Strasbourg boss will hope to see more of the same in his first Premier League game against Brentford on Saturday.
Rosenior has stated on numerous occasions how talented he thinks the squad, but admitted he loves having Fernandez as part of the group.
“I think Enzo shows passion and commitment. I thought he ran himself to the ground,” he told BeIN Sports.
“But I thought the longer the game went on, the more he actually had an influence on the game. He was outstanding. He’s one of the leaders in the group, and I love having him in the group.”
🗣️ “We’ve kept ourselves in with a good shout in the tie. Obviously disappointed to lose the game today, but a lot of good signs.”
