Chelsea have been put into a moderately spiced Champions League group, with three ties against three strong but not overpowering teams.
Last season’s star story Ajax, Valencia from La Liga and Lille from Ligue 1 as a relatively strong fourth seed.
All three will give a nice away trip and a decent challenge, but Chelsea should still be expected to qualify.

How are we feeling about the draw? Could have been a lot better and a lot worse IMO. Ajax have lost quite a chunk of last year's team, which makes me suspect they won't be quite the same force. Valencia seem to have started pretty poorly
