Chelsea receive fresh injury boost ahead of Wolves clash
Chelsea have received a fresh injury boost with young duo Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James tipped to return to first-team action following the ongoing international break.
Hudson-Odoi suffered a serious Achilles injury during the penultimate month of the previous campaign but he has made a swift recovery to participate with the Blues in regular training.
James, meanwhile, has been a short-term absentee following the ankle problem sustained on England Under-20 duty but he appears close to making his Blues debut after similarly returning to first-team training.
According to injury analyst Ben Dinnery, both players are set to make their injury comebacks following the international break and they could take the playing field by the end of the month.
Hudson-Odoi’s absence has not hampered the team drastically with the emergence of Mason Mount while Tammy Abraham has been able to show his goalscoring exploits.
On the other hand, James has been regarded as the future choice for the right-back spot but he could be handed with an early debut, considering the poor form of Cesar Azpilicueta in the role this season.
