The Blues finally have there first win at home against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
Not only did the Blues grab their first Premier League home win of the campaign against the Seagulls, but they also kept a maiden clean sheet on their way to a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
It was a dominant performance from Frank Lampard’s side, who had 10 shots on target to their opponents’ one, and there were several impressive performances from his players.
Ross Barkley, though, was one who struggled. Playing in the middle of the park in place of N’Golo Kante, who had a hamstring issue and was therefore unable to feature, the former Everton man was caught in possession no less than six times, which was the most of any player on either side.
The 25-year-old’s poor display did not go unnoticed by the London outfit’s faithful, and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
