Atlético Madrid are interested in signing Chelsea winger Pedro, according to reports in Spain.
As stated by Don Balon, Atlético manager Diego Simeone wants to take advantage of the fact Pedro is not being used by Frank Lampard so far at Chelsea this season, and is keen on offering him a way out back to Spain.
The 32-year old has less than a year left on his current Chelsea deal, and will be free to talk to other clubs in January unless he is offered a new contract.
So he could end up leaving Chelsea on a free transfer come next summer.
The former Spanish international arrived in London in 2015 and has made over 120 appearances for Chelsea.
But you would feel that his Blues career is winding down to the end now, as he will seek to get that desired first team football at the latter end of his impressive footballing career.
