Strongest Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3) to face Ajax, Start for Pulisic, Kovacic back in

0

Chelsea arrived in Holland yesterday in preparation for their latest Champions League group match against Ajax.

The Blues will be lining up against a very good and quick young side who surprised many with their run in the same competition last year.

Ajax have many good young talents and believe in their academy, a lot like Frank Lampard is doing at Chelsea this season. So it will be an interesting match at the least.

The Blues are in good form off the back of five wins in a row, so they won’t be short of confidence tonight.

N’Golo Kante, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are all out with injuries.

Emerson is back in contention but might not be ready for full involvement just yet, whilst Mateo Kovacic is in line for a start.

I believe we will see Mason Mount rested and Christian Pulisic will start in his place. The three behind Abraham will interchange but Lampard will probably start Pulisic in the centre.

Predicted Chelsea Xl vs Ajax (4-2-3-1) –

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Zouma, Tomori, Alonso. Jorginho, Kovacic. Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic, Willian. Abraham.
