As per the Spanish publication Marca, Real Madrid have reportedly been scouting Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount this season.
The 20-year-old starred for Derby County in the Championship during the 2018-19 campaign before returning to parent club Chelsea for the new season.
Mount has been in impressive form for the Blues this term – scoring three times in six Premier League appearances under the management of Frank Lampard.
The youngster also made his international debut for England earlier this month – appearing against Bulgaria on September 7 before also coming off the bench to feature against Kosovo.
According to reports in Spain, Madrid have sent several of their scouts to watch Mount in action this season with the Spanish club’s president Florentino Perez an admirer of his talents.
The attacker, who joined Chelsea at the age of six, has a contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2024 having only recently signed a new long-term deal.
Meanwhile, Valencia defender Jose Gaya has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea.
The Blues are currently serving a two-window transfer ban after breaking rules in relation to signing under-age players, and that suspension will also be in place for the January transfer window.
Frank Lampard’s side are said to be making plans for next summer, though, and according to Soccer Link, the Premier League outfit are eyeing a swoop for Gaya.
