Would Chelsea fans welcome£80 million man after midfielder told to make Stamford Bridge move

Grealish has taken the Premier League by storm this season for Villa and has become one of the most impressive players in the Premier League, and he once again stood head and shoulders above the rest on the field with another swashbuckling display against Manchester United that has characterised his return to the Premier League following promotion from the Championship.

Chelsea are in the midst of a transfer ban which does not allow them to make any moves for players in the winter window, but after their appeal, there is a feeling that the Blues may indeed be able to splash the cash and land a few new faces.

And former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage has urged the midfielder to make a move to the likes of Chelsea: ‘Aston Villa what are they going to achieve? Staying in the Premier League,’ Savage said on BBC Five Live.

‘If they achieve that it is going to be a great season for them, they are not winning a cup.

‘If Manchester City, Spurs or Chelsea come with a massive offer for Jack Grealish, let’s say £80m, I think he’ll go. ‘He’s far better than Aston Villa.’

CHELSEA are in this transfer ban, but there are still a lot of transfer rumours suggesting that they will try and make a number of transfer deals in the winter window, and it is a shock to see that Grealish is now on the shopping list.

He has been decent for Villa, he does have some ability, but, Chelsea are at that stage now that they need to add their young, exciting, and talented players with some world class acquisitions that will get them challenging for more titles.

And the fact it would take around £80 million to complete a deal, that is a lot of money to spend on a player that needs a lot ore work to get to the level that he would make an impact on the Blues squad. So at the end of the day, Chelsea shouldn’t make a move for this man.
