According to Bleacher Report, Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake looks likely to join Chelsea in January.
While Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is wary of making too many signings in January, the report claims Lampard likes the idea of bringing Ake back to Stamford Bridge.
The Netherlands international left Chelsea for Bournemouth in 2017 but the Blues inserted a £40 million buy-back clause into the deal and are now keen to activate it.
Lampard loves Ake’s versatility and sees the 24 year old as an option in left-back and also in midfield.
Manchester City are also interested in the 24-year-old but Bleacher Report insists a move to Chelsea is more likely for Ake.
