“A tough game” – Eden Hazard makes ‘SHOCK’ Manchester United vs Chelsea prediction.. reveals who to win
Eden Hazard, a legend of Chelsea, has been addressing before his team’s match against Manchester United later today.
Manchester United, who recently appointed Ruben Amorim as their next permanent manager, will host Chelsea at Old Trafford.
Ruud van Nistelrooy will continue to stay in the dugout until November 11th, when Amorim will formally assume leadership.
The Chelsea attacker that Van Nistelrooy’s team will need to keep an eye on this afternoon is Noni Madueke, whom he knows well from his time as the winger’s manager at PSV Eindhoven.
Eden Hazard believes Chelsea will win.
The former Chelsea attacker anticipates goals at Old Trafford because neither Chelsea’s nor United’s defense has persuaded him this season.
In terms of a winner, unsurprisingly, Eden Hazard has gone for his former club. Speaking on the clash, Eden Hazard said: “I think there will be goals in this. Both sides are defensively leaking.
“Even in midweek when they beat Leicester, they still conceded two, so I am going to go for Man United 2-3 Chelsea.”
Right now, Hazard doesn’t think there’s room for Christopher Nkunku in Enzo Maresca‘s team. The forward has had to play back-up to Nicolas Jackson in the current campaign.
However, United could easily have that new manager bounce, already beating Leicester City 5-2 midweek, while Chelsea have not won at Old Trafford since 2013.
Going into the game, some may be expecting Maresca’s men to come out as victors, but it really would not be a shock to see this one end 1-1.
With Chelsea having the opportunity to move to third, it would be a disappointing result, especially considering how United have played this season.
But with Van Nistelrooy in charge, it could be a completely different United team that turns up later.
After the United game, Chelsea have another tough match. Next Sunday, they take on Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
