Tammy Abraham went off with a hip injury in the 2-2 draw against Valencia in the Champions League clash last week.
Just seen Abraham – asked if he’ll be fit for Aston Villa, he replied with a nod, a smile. Then said ‘Hopefully’. Sounds pretty likely. At least there is some good news for Chelsea today.

The 22-year-old was forced to miss Chelsea’s game against West Ham. Chelsea boss Frank Lampard confirmed on Friday that Abraham is unavailable for selection against West Ham due to the injury he suffered on Wednesday.
Lampard also revealed before the Hammers game that he still doesn’t know how long Abraham will be sidelined.
Meanwhile, football reporter Simon Johnson has revealed that Tammy Abraham gave hint that he could feature in the midweek game against Aston Villa.
He tweeted: “Just seen Abraham – asked if he’ll be fit for Aston Villa, he replied with a nod, a smile.
Then said ‘Hopefully’. Sounds pretty likely. At least there is some good news for Chelsea today.”
