“After warning Enzo Maresca not to use him” “He keeps causing problems to the team, He cost us three points today – John Terry NAMES ONE Chelsea star who does not deserve to start for Chelsea again after 2-0 defeat to Newcastle
Former Chelsea player John Terry has criticised Nicolas Jackson after the striker was sent off during the Blues’ 2-0 defeat to Newcastle, suggesting the red card may have broader implications for Chelsea’s season.
Speaking after the match, Terry was blunt in his assessment of the Senegalese forward’s impact – or lack thereof – before the dismissal.
“Nicolas Jackson will have his head in his hands right now. Chelsea have been in complete control in this second half and you have to think that with 11 men, and more importantly a striker on the pitch, they would have got something from this.
“Jackson has cost them this game and what else has he cost them this season?”
“I remember when same Jackson has costed us so much this season with lost of goals he needs to be bench or better still sign a top striker who can help us next season… enough is enough…Terry has said.
