Argentine player joins Chelsea, begins training next week
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has summoned up 19-year-old center-back Aaron Anselmino from his loan at Boca Juniors.
The Argentine defender, who was originally loaned back to Boca for the season after being recruited by Chelsea last summer, is scheduled to join the Blues in January. He has been recognized by the team as a prospective first-team option, and they want him to join the team as soon as possible.
Anselmino will travel to London at the end of the week and is expected to begin training with Chelsea next week.
The teenager had established himself as a regular starter for Boca in the latter half of the year, making 18 appearances before being sidelined by a hamstring injury in November.
