Arsenal finally make move on signing Chelsea midfielder in January transfer window
Arsenal have finally make their final stance when it comes to signing Chelsea midfielder Jorginho during the January transfer window.
Jorginho was one of the most sort after player in Europe when Chelsea outbid Manchester City to secure his services from Napoli two seasons ago but he has not been able to secure a starting spot under Frank Lampard.
The Italian has been in and out of the team this season and has been rumoured to be one of the players that will be moving away during this transfer window.
Arsenal were linked with a move for Jorginho during the last summer transfer window but they could not agree a price with the Blues and it seems they are not going to make any offer again.
According to The Athletic Chelsea who are not used to strengthen their rival believe no team will come near the £50m valuation they hold of him in the January window.
Arsenal who are currently going through a rough season are now set to go after a more creative-minded player, with Christian Eriksen believed to be a target.
Eriksen has been given the green light to leave Inter Milan after failing to convince Antonio Conte and a move back to London is believed to be the most likely scenario.
The Denmark international former experience at the Premier League has also been seen as an added advantage as the Gunners are eager to turn their season around.
