Chelsea have a big game against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, and both teams are definitely pushing for the win in this game as the fight for a top four finish intensifies.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes Chelsea should win this game and doesn’t fancy United’s attacking line. After picking Chelsea to win 2-1, he explained on the Kelly & Wrighty Show: “I fancy Chelsea to win that one for some reason, I don’t know what it is.
“Maybe it’s because I don’t know the forward players of Man United. Is Odion Ighalo going to come in and score? Hopefully he does but if not you just feel that Chelsea might be able to get this one over the line.”
Wright went on: “Chelsea being at home you’d like to think they’re going to have a go at Man United and put them under pressure.
“At the same time, Man United do play better – especially when Rashford was playing but obviously he’s not there – when they’re on the break.
“So it could suit Man United, with Daniel James, and if Anthony Martial gets himself going a little bit, it could suit them on the break.
“But I’m expecting Chelsea to have a go at them, because I feel it is a Man United side that is young and if you have a go at them they could crack under that pressure.
“And it’s up to Chelsea to keep that pressure going. But you know Chelsea at home they’ve not been able to do that, they’ve not been able to see teams off.”
