Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski was in hot form against Chelsea, and the Poland international showed why he’s one of the best strikers in the world as he scored a goal and assisted two in Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
Surprisingly, Lewandowski won’t be available for the return leg at the Allianz Arena after a five star performance at the Bridge in the first leg.
The 31-year-old sustained a knee injury during the first game and could be out for four weeks.
Despite having completed 90 minutes of action, Lewandowski was found to have suffered the injury after the game.
Chelsea return to the Allianz Arena in three weeks time, and Lewandowski won’t be available for this clash.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will be without Marcos Alonso and Jorginho for this game through suspension. Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be hoping that N’Golo Kante, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic will be available for this game.
