BIG DISCUSSION: Who should wear the No.10 shirt next season?

0

It feels like an eternity since Eden Hazard has left the club. Still, the Belgian played in the Blues’ last official fixture only a couple of months ago.

Since then, his No.10 shirt has been left vacated. Some have assumed that it will be taken by our only newcomer, Christian Pulisic (who is playing under No. 24 in the friendlies).

Others have believed that it will be given to our future star, Callum Hudson-Odoi who has allegedly even pushed for it during the contract talks (we may hear about it soon).

So, Willian’s remarks that he has already accepted the No. 10 shirt left some of us in surprise. Who is the best choice, anyway? Here’s what you answered:

27% – Christian Pulisic

The American forward has just joined Chelsea and must already deal with high expectations. Pulisic has already denied he is going to be a direct replacement for Hazard. While we believe that he is capable of making an instant impact, sure he doesn’t need extra burden?

30% – Callum Hudson-Odoi

No one belittles his potential. The teenager could become the player to leave the greatest mark in the club’s history among academy graduates since John Terry. But he will have plenty of time to put on the coveted shirt.

34% – Willian

If the Brazilian has been given the promise, there is no way the club should play it back. And why would they? Willian is one of the team’s veterans, loyal to Chelsea for 6 years.
