Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly keen on re-signing Nathan Ake, who left Chelsea for Bournemouth.
Manchester City and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the Holland international.
The Blues have first refuse to sign the Dutchman. The defender has a £40m buy-back clause inserted in his deal with Bournemouth which expires in the winter, The Athletic have informed.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe insists no club is yet to submit a formal bid for Nathan Ake.
When asked if any formal approaches had been made, he told reporters: “Nothing to report on Nathan (Ake).
He is recovering well from his injury, we will see when he is back fit.”
Ake has been out injured since December 7 and is expected to be out until late January with an ongoing thigh injury.
