BREAKING: Chelsea bids farewell to coach as he leaves club

Henrique Hilario, Chelsea’s former goalkeeper and long-serving goalkeeping coach, is set to leave the club after 18 years of dedication. The Portuguese coach has agreed to join Thomas Tuchel as part of the English national team’s coaching setup.

Before his final game as a Chelsea coach at Stamford Bridge, the club paid tribute to Hilario on social media, posting an image of a custom-made shirt that will be presented to him. The caption read: “One last game at the Bridge for Hilario. Thanks for everything, H!”

Hilario first joined Chelsea as a player in 2006 and transitioned to a coaching role under Antonio Conte during the 2016/17 season. Since then, he has worked with every Chelsea manager, earning admiration for his professionalism and contributions.

The 49-year-old departs Stamford Bridge with heartfelt gratitude from the club and fans, marking the end of a remarkable chapter in his career.
