BREAKING: Chelsea left-back Kenedy undergoing medical with Getafe
The Brazilian serving the final year of his current Chelsea deal has reportedly traveled to Spain to undergo his medical with La Liga side Getafe.
The 23-year-old is expected to sign a year-long loan deal with the Spanish outfit, having failed to impress Frank Lampard in pre-season friendlies.
The likes of Fenerbahce (Fotomac) and Reading (Carefree Youth) have also been linked with a move for the Brazilian lately.
Last season Kenedy played on loan for Newcastle, making 28 appearances and even managing to score a goal.
The Blues signed Kenedy from Fluminense for an €8 million fee in the summer of 2015.
He’s made only 27 appearances in all competitions since then. His current contract at the Bridge expires next summer.
