Chelsea hunt for Inter Milan’s striker Mauro Icardi
The Argentinian is reluctant to leave, as his family is happy at Milan, while he enjoys playing in the Champions League
Icardi insist that he will not listen to offers
Calciomercato claim the Blues intend to go over the top with a 100m euros offer in January
The Blues are preparing a huge bid in an attempt to land Inter striker Mauro Icardi. According to the latest report in the Italian media Calciomercato, Chelsea are willing to pay 100 million euros for the Argentinian
However, Chelsea’s top target Mauro Icardi previously consistently denied any possibility he will leave Inter Milan.
The Argentine forward said he and his family are happy at Milan and he will not listen to any offers as long as Inter plays in the Champions League. Icardi said, as cited by Mirror:
“I do not know if everything that is published is true. I always say that I am very good with my family at Inter, I have no intention of leaving.”
Nevertheless, Chelsea doesn’t seem to give up on the forward. The Blues have sent their scouts to monitor Inter Milan forward several times this season.
Now the Blues are willing to come back with an offer if the not-so-reputable Calciomercato outlet to be believed.
