Premier League chiefs are set to hold an emergency meeting on Thursday to discuss plans for the Premier League season after the league came to a halt due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
According to The Sun, Liverpool could be denied their first league title in 30 years if 14 Premier League clubs agree to axe the season.
The Premier League has been suspended until April 4 at the earliest due to the global outbreak of coronavirus and there have been calls from some Premier League clubs to cancel the season and start afresh.
Liverpool sit 25 points clear of Manchester City at the top of the league after 29 matches and would be hoping the rest of the league vote for the season to continue.
We just hope it won’t affect them after 30 years of no Premier League trophy.
