The 14th of February has already become a below-average day for Man City fans and it keeps getting worse.

The Premier League now have to act due to their own licensing – the committees have already discussed potential punishments and points deduction looks the likeliest.
While Premier League expulsion looks highly unlikely, the Football League rulings state that any club in such a situation should start from zero in League Two.

The report indicates that Premier League committees had already discussed potential punishments in the event that UEFA punished City.
City are currently in second place in the Premier League on 51 points, 22 points adrift of runaway leaders Liverpool.
