Breaking! See why Mudryk may have been set up in doping scandal (It’s terrible)
Unfortunately, Mykhailo Mudryk, a winger for Chelsea, is the subject of today’s major news, and it is not at all good. It’s actually bad news.
People will form their own opinions on Mudryk and what has transpired here regardless of what happens next. No matter what happens, I find it difficult to envision him returning to Chelsea.
Mudryk will defend himself by saying that he has never intentionally consumed any prohibited substances, even though he was just suspended after a doping test revealed that he had.
The Chelsea winger has been struggling in his career and hasn’t been able to consistently make the starting lineup. Concerns over his maturity have also been raised, but Chelsea has seemingly ignored them.
But the people close to Mudryk on on the defensive now and are willing to fight his cause.
Mudryk set up?
Surely not? That would be absolutely crazy. But it is the claim now being made by a source who spoke to The Athletic. In fact, multiple sources apparently.
They reported on Tuesday morning that multiple sources have told them on Monday that Mykhailo Mudryk intends to defend his position, with the player’s stance explained by people familiar with the case to be that he did not intentionally take the substance and that there is a suspicion of sabotage, although The Athletic has not been able to independently verify that claim.
A suspicion of sabotage, so a set up situation. That’s not cool at all. Unfortunately though, this is surely just going to be one of those situations where we will never learn the truth about and will have the player’s side claiming one thing but unable to prove anything.
