Caballero or Kepa: Who should start next game against Manchester United? Read what Caballero has to say

Caballero was given his first Premier League start this season, and after a good first-half performance, he made a mistake in the second-half that led to a goal.

The goalkeeping position is one of the main thing Frank Lampard will be keen to strengthen during the summer, as Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero have both proven to be unreliable when called upon.

Chelsea’s next game comes up after the winter break against Manchester United, and Caballero has admitted that he’s not sure who would start that game in goal, but has vowed to keep working hard in training.

“I feel great because I played and we got one point in a difficult stadium against a difficult team,” Caballero said.

“We’ll see what they want to do and I’ll just keep showing that I can play and be in the starting XI for the next game, but no one is sure that they will play the next game.

The message from the boss is to keep working hard in the training.

“I had the opportunity to play and to try to enjoy it. I just have to do my job, be ready for the next game.”
