Chelsea and Barcelona finally reach agreement for £150,000k a-week star
According to the most recent reports, César Azpilicueta of Spain has been agreed upon in principle by Chelsea and Barcelona.
The move for Azpilicueta is reportedly estimated to cost between four and five million euros.
This summer, there have been numerous transfer reports linking the Spaniard to Camp Nou, casting doubt on his future at Chelsea.
According to reports, he and Barcelona have already reached a personal agreement, and he will most likely sign for two seasons with an option for a third.
The Blues skipper would soon have to leave their camp during their US trip to join Barcelona’s tour of the country, where he could meet up with them and undergo his medicals like Robert Lewandowski, who just joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich.
According to reports, Chelsea is negotiating a deal to replace Azpilicueta departure with the goal of signing Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.
Azpilicueta is advantageous for Barcelona because he can play either as a right-back or a centre defender.
