John Terry has made his next move after leaving Aston Villa – a pundit for Egyptian TV.

The former Villa and Chelsea skipper has been hired as an analyst to discuss Egyptian super team Pyramids FC.

The team has been bought by Turki Al Alshaikh, he has renamed the club from Al Assiouty and bought the TV rights for the Egyptian League.

It is seen as part of the revolution of the Egyptian game and a big step in the development of the sport.

Terry isn’t the only big name involved, Roberto Carlos, Robbie Keane and Ronaldinho have also been involved as analysts as part of a bid to raise the profile of the club.

Whether or not it proves to be a permanent move into the world of TV punditry for Terry, remains to be seen.

Terry is still weighing up a number of options heading into the new season, after denying that he was set to hang up his boots and retire.
