Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has agreed personal terms with French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco according to the latest reports emanating from the British media.
Bakayoko has been told to find a new club and he could leave Chelsea for Monaco before the European transfer market ends.
The transfer deadline is scheduled for the 2nd of September.
UK Express claimed that Tiemoue Bakayoko is closing in on a loan move to AS Monaco after he agreed on personal terms with the Principality club.
He will join Monaco on loan for the new season with the option to make the transfer permanent for £32m at the end of his loan spell with the French giants.
Bakayoko was formerly on the payroll of AS Monaco until the summer of 2017 when he moved to Chelsea in a deal reported to be around £40m.
The 25-year-old French midfielder joined Chelsea when Italian tactician Antonio Conte was the Blues boss.
Bakayoko didn’t live up to expectations in his first season at Stamford Bridge and played a big role in the decision to send him to Italian Serie A giants AC Milan on loan.
His form improved at AC Milan but the Rossoneri passed up the option to make his loan deal a permanent one.
