Reports have claimed that Frank Lampard will be handed a massive £150 million to spend on new players in the summer by the Chelsea hierarchy.
It is no secret that Lampard wanted to add to his squad during the January window, wanted to improve in key areas of the pitch and push on for the second half of the season, but the hierarchy failed to get any business done and in the end Lampard failed to make any real changes.
However, that will surely be different in the summer as reports on the Daily Express have claimed that Lampard will be handed a massive transfer kitty to play with and improve on the side, in hope that he could sign a few top class players that will get the club challenging for titles once again.
We made over £150 million during last summers window, and it is believed that money will be handed to Lampard, with a number of players on the shopping list.
MARTIN DUBRAVKA: We need a new goalkeeper as Lampard is said to be unhappy with Kepa and Newcastle shot-stopper Dubravka, with his Premier League experience, could suit the Blues nicely.
NATHAN AKE: We have the option to buy Ake back from Bournemouth for £40m, having sold him for just over half of that a couple of years ago.
RICHARLISON: Richarlison was reportedly the subject of an £85million bid from Barcelona before January deadline day but Everton rejected their advances. We would likely be told to spend in excess of £100m for the Brazilian.
WILFRED ZAHA: Zaha is still adamant he wants a move away from Crystal Palace, but he wants to stay in London. Lampard will likely have to battle Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for his signature in the summer.
