Chelsea have reportedly identified Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard as a transfer target.
Currently valued at €15m, U21 France international has had a fantastic campaign for the Hoops, netting 24 goals while providing 17 assists in 39 matches across all tournaments so far. Odsonne has vast potential and can become a top-class striker.
Odsonne is currently the top scorer of the Scottish Premiership with 20 goals to his name. Blues have identified Edouard as a potential transfer target while also having an interest in Lyon centre-forward Moussa Dembele. This report also claims that the West London club have been sending scouts to observe the Celtic centre-forward.
The 22-year-old centre-forward has also been linked to Man United with the Daily Mail claiming that he is among the Red Devils’ transfer targets.
The Scottish club seem well on course to win the Premiership, and the French striker’s has been an influential figure for them this campaign. Frank Lampard wants to bolster the front-line.
The Blues might need a centre-forward in the summer as their backup options for Tammy Abraham include Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud. Besides, if any of the two leave the club, the London club will need another striker and Edouard could be a suitable option for them.
Chelsea have excellent consequences in the Premier League this campaign as they are in a fourth place in the table. London club signed Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid and Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund recently.
