“Chelsea is not Arsenal” “I’m confident in them” – Former Arsenal star reveals where Chelsea will finish this season
Despite Chelsea’s recent slump, with only three points secured from their last five Premier League matches, former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit remains optimistic about the club’s prospects.
Petit believes the team has the potential to secure a top-four finish despite their challenges.
“There are many reasons why Chelsea struggled over the last month. They dropped a lot of points. That can be explained by a lack of energy and a lack of consistency of some players, but they are a young team competing at the highest level,” Petit explained.
“I’m very happy with what Maresca and Chelsea are doing. I’m confident they will finish in the top four.”
Chelsea currently sit 5th in the Premier League standings with 37 points from 21 matches, keeping them firmly in the race for Champions League qualification.
