Crystal Palace are unlikely to complete a permanent deal to land Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Belgium international completed a loan move to Selhurst Park during the winter window after failing to convince during a half-season stint at La Liga before the turn of the year.
Michy Batshuayi has since been in solid form for London club, finding the back of the net on three occasions from his 11 matches so far this season.
Crystal Palace may be tempted into pursuing the ex-Marseille forward in the summer, but Goal claims that they did not include an option to buy clause in the deal for the striker when they wrapped up a January move.
Roy Hodgson’s team are also understood to be unlikely to cough up anywhere near what the Blues would demand to part ways with the centre-forward at the end of the season.
Nevertheless, the 25-year-old’s future at the capital club is hardly secure, with Maurizio Sarri believed to be prioritising securing Gonzalo Higuain and Olivier Giroud’s positions at the club.
The Belgium international will be sold probably in the summer with Everton preparing £33 million bid for the striker.
And it was also reported that the Merseysiders want to sign another Chelsea star who is on loan Goodison Park – Kurt ZOuma.
The French defender has spent the entire year at Everton, and Marco Silva is keen on retaining the services of the centre-back and will launch aa tempting offer for the France international.
