Chelsea have reportedly offered Callum Hudson-Odoi a new five-year contract, with Maurizio Sarri keen on integrating him into the first-team squad.
Hudson-Odoi is one of the most talented players we’ve ever seen Chelsea produce. That’s no exaggeration.
We said the same with Gael Kakuta, Jeremie Boga, Lewis Baker, and more, but if Hudson-Odoi doesn’t make it, there’s a serious problem.
He gave us a taste of what he was capable of when given an opportunity by Antonio Conte, but our former manager decided against showing any sort of faith in him.
That could be set to change under Sarri. He has a track record for placing faith in youngsters.
According to Standard Sport, Sarri is planning on promoting Hudson-Odoi for the first-team. He handed him a start against Perth Glory on Monday afternoon.
Chelsea are also set to offer Hudson-Odoi a five-year contract. That’d be one of the best deals we could get over the line this summer.
