Cole Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City for approximately £45 million. He was deemed redundant to the City squad and was therefore sent away from Manchester. However, City is now regretting its mistake, as Palmer is continually hitting new heights in London. As a result, City is eager to re-sign him in the future.
The Blues are quite pleased with Palmer, and the 22-year-old is regarded as the main man. He has developed into one of the top players in Europe. Last season, Palmer scored 25 goals and assisted 15 more in all competitions.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea will only consider selling Palmer if they receive a world-record bid. Neymar holds the current record when he joined PSG back in time. PSG paid around £200 million to sign the Brazilian. It means, City may have to spend more than £200 million if they want Palmer to rejoin them.
Palmer has signed a contract extension with Chelsea recently. The new contract keeps him at the club until 2023 and this means The Blues have a big say in deciding the player’s future.
Palmer too seems really happy at Chelsea and is setting new records. Palmer is nominated for the Ballon D’Or this year. He has emerged as an important star for both his club and country.
