Chelsea are prepared to spend £50 million on Brazilian attacker. The player has been already impressing in Premier League. He is wanted by multiple clubs.

Chelsea have signed Liam Delap from Ipswich Town. The 22 year old was wanted by multiple clubs but the Blues defeated all in the race. Delap has costed the club £30 million which is viewed as bargain. Hence, the club is keen to sign another striker.

The West London giants have been heavily linked with Hugo Ekitike. He too is 22 years old and plays for Frankfurt. He scored 22 goals and picked 12 assists this season. But, he will not come cheap and there is heavy competition for him too.

Ekitike is made available by Frankfurt for £80 million. The German giants are unwilling to lower their demands due to the player’s age, quality and demand. Hence, Chelsea are now shifting their attention towards other strikers.

Chelsea interested to sign Brazilian striker

The star in question here is Joao Pedro. He is 23 years old Brazilian striker who plays for Brighton & Hove Albion. Pedro has been very good in Premier League and has attracted interest from multiple clubs including Chelsea.

According to Daily Mail via Mirror, the Blues are ready to spend £50 million on Joao Pedro. But, Brighton ared demanding £60 million. The Blues have good relation with the Seagulls and hence are trying to negotiate on lower transfer fee.

Pedro had an amazing last season where he scored 20 goals and picked 3 assists in 40 games. He has scored 10 and assisted 7 this season in 30 games. This stats will surely improve when the Brazilian is surrounded by top players.

Chelsea can opt to part ways with Nicolas Jackson. The 23 year old has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge. He has interest from multiple top clubs and the Blues can cash-in on him. On the other hand, Marc Guiu who is still very young is likely to be sent on loan.
