Chelsea and Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas is reportedly set to move out of Stamford Bridge and he is being tracked by two La Liga clubs.
The 31-year-old Spaniard had a season to forget as he performed below is usual level. The player is becoming too old to endure the physically demanding nature of the League and he could be moving to his hometown in the summer.
Despite having a year left on his contract with the Blues, Fabregas is ready to partway with the former Premier League Champions and he is currently getting a look-in from Valencia and Villarreal, according to El Gol Digital.
The Spanish media outlet also reports that Valencia is leading the chase for the player, who was snubbed by Spain’s national team coaches in their world cup list.
With Rodri Hernandez, Roberto Soriano, Enes Unal and Roger Martinez all set to move out of Villarreal in the summer, the Yellow submarines manager Javier Calleja is ready to get some players to fill the spaces that could be created through their departure.
However, it is not yet seen if the Blues would want to let go of the Spaniard on a cheap price, considering his experience and quality over the years.
Villarreal finished the season in the fifth position on the La Liga log but they are hoping to build on that, next season.
