Chelsea have been linked with a new striker target, and not a moment too soon.
The need for a striker at the Bridge has reached critical levels, and so it’s no surprise to see Krzysztof Piatek linked with a move here.
The young Pole has been banging them in for Genoa since signing this summer, and CalcioMercato already have him valued at €35m.
CaughtOffside have the report, and while their claims aren’t substantiated, it’s hard to imagine we aren’t at least looking at the breakout star.
In fact, it’s hard to imagine any club isn’t paying attention to the player who this weekend made himself the top scorer in Europe’s big 5 leagues.
It’s still way too early to consider him a serious target – we don’t know if this is the sign of a great player breaking out or just a good run of form – but you can bet your bottom dollar we’ve got our eyes on him – just like everyone else.
