Chelsea wants £35million UCL finalist as Mudryk replacement
Karim Adeyemi is being considered by Chelsea. He has now developed into one of Borussia Dortmund’s most important players. He is a serious threat to the defense because of his quickness with the ball and dribbling skills. He also had a decent shot at the same moment. Thus, the winger is being watched by the Blues.
They may therefore decide to sign the 22-year-old shortly. The London team currently boasts a large number of talented players. Therefore, it will be intriguing to observe how Enzo Maresca intends to accommodate him.
Karim Adeyemi in great demand
His performances in the UCL last season are hard to forget. He helped his team to the final against Real Madrid. Top clubs including Chelsea and PSG are now willing to sign the winger. As per thechelseachronicle, the Bundesliga club wanted £35 million for him this summer.
But the price will be a little higher next time. Especially with the way the German has begun this season. So it will be interesting to see if the Blues are able to beat PSG and sign him. Meanwhile, Les Parisiens will be keen to improve their squad depth up front.
Should Chelsea sign the German star?
We strongly believe that as of now the Blues have no need of another winger. They already had Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho joining in this summer. At the same time, Adeyemi is a good alternative for Mykhailo Mudryk.
So the Blues should sign him only if they are willing to let go of Mudryk. If not, then the London side could focus their resources on finding better defensive options. As of now, they already have a quality attacking squad with players in top form. So adding another player up front will simply be a waste of resources.
