Chelsea youngster Piazon set to leave Chelsea in the next 48 hours
According to British media, Chelsea’s longest-serving player Lucas Piazon will leave the Blues ‘in the next 48 hours’. There are two teams interested in the winger – one in Portugal and one in Spain.
The La Liga side interested in Piazon is still unknown, while in Portugal it seems that Rio Ave are the wants who are willing to take the player on a two-year-long loan deal.
Piazon keeps training with Chelsea first team while the club looks for options to settle his future.
Earlier this month ESPN reported that Turkish side Besiktas were close to securing a deal for the attacker.
Besiktas offered €5m for the Brazilian midfielder, but the transfer has never materialized. Meanwhile, Piazon’s contract at Chelsea expires in 2020.
The player joined The Blues in 2011 from Sao Paolo. He featured in three games for the first team in the 2012/13 season with a total of 161 minutes as they remain his only appearances for Chelsea.
Last season, Piazon played on loan at Chievo. It was the winger’s sixth loan spell as Piazon has already played at Fulham, Malaga, Vitesse, Eintracht Frankfurt and Reading.
