Christian Pulisic has been out of action since the turn of the new year due to a groin injury.
The America Captain is set to miss this weekend’s action again and Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has revealed that he could be out for up to two weeks.
Lampard told the media: “We would like to think so, which kind of goes towards the break in February which might fall at a nice time and give us a bit more to play with. Hopefully he will be back for the other end of that break. It’s in line with how we expected him to be.”
Meanwhile, the American international had previously revealed that he’s working hard to make a quick return to the team.
“It’s been almost a week, and I’m just kind of taking it day by day,” Pulisic told ESPN.
“I’m just rehabbing every day. I’m doing my best to be back in the next week, the next couple weeks.
“I don’t think it should be too long, so I’m just working every day, doing everything I can to be back on the pitch.”
